Program Duration

Duration to complete the program is three months. However the candidates have maximum of six months to complete the program. (it is inclusive of a grace period of three months against a re-registration fee of Rs. 500 / US$ 25).

 

Eligibility

This is a Introductory Program which any enthusiastic student / professional pursuing a diploma/10+2 / under-graduate /post-graduate course/ corporate profile, in any discipline/ industry can join. Experienced professionals, academicians and researchers too are advised to join this program for streamlining the knowledge about Nanotechnology.

 

Scholarships

Applicants shall be awarded scholarships upto 50% on the basis of aggregate marks in diploma/10+2/ graduation/ post-graduation degree.  For more information Click here

 

Program Delivery Methodology

Introductory Program in Nanotechnology-Distance Participation has a unique delivery methodology. The program delivery is through regular dispatch of training kit, self evaluation work book and Multimedia CD, and compulsory assignments. The program support is provided through e-mail / telephone / web portal.

 

Program Delivery Procedure

1. Participant Role

  • Download participation form and prospectus from website www.nstc.in
  • Submission of complete Participation Form and necessary Participation Fee in form of DD drawn in  favour of "Nano Science and Technology Consortium" payable at Delhi/New Delhi to the Institute. In case of downloaded form add Rs 100 for application processing.
  • Submission of written Assignments to NSTC
  • Program Completion           

 2. NSTC Role

  • Support Material and written Assignment is dispatched to the participant. Dispatch is made within 10 days  after receiving the Participation Form and Program Fee.
  •  Evaluation of Submissions
  •  Award of certificate

               

 

Fee structure and payment norms

The program fee of Rs. 4000/- should be sent along with duly completed application form. The fee should be paid through a Demand Draft/ At par Cheque, issued in favour of "Nano Science and Technology Consortium , payable at Delhi/ New Delhi

Despatch of study material and the certificates

The above program fee is inclusive of the charges towards the dispatch of Kit (study material) and the Certificate. However, in case of return of these documents owing to incorrectness/ insufficiency in the address or change of postal address, provided by the participant, the second time dispatch of the aforesaid material is charged as per the norms.

 

Enrollment Procedure

Aspirants who wish to apply for the Introductory Program in Nanotechnology can download the application form from our

Duly filled application form (enclosing a Bank Draft issued in favour of "Nano Science and Technology Consortium", payable at Delhi/ New Delhi), along with a copy of the certificate/ mark sheet of the 10+2 or above Certificate/ Degree/ Diploma and a copy of passport size photograph.          

One can apply any time of the year the registration will be provided forth current or the ongoing batch.                                                                                 

Participant can register for more than one program at the time.

 

Evaluation and Certification

 

Evaluation for course shall be conducted through submitted written assignments. The time duration required to complete the program is three months. Students are instructed to complete and ensure submission of the said assignment to NSTC within a stipulated time period of 3 months. Failing to meet this time-line requires a re-registration in the same program, by remitting a re- registration fee of Rs. 500= 00/ US$25=00. This facilitates an extension of three months (maximum) period for the submission of written assignments..

Every deserving candidate passing the course shall be provided the coveted certificate by Nano Science and Technology Consortium in hard copy by registered post.
