Program Overview

Content Writing is writing to produce material that sells, looks attractive and reads well. Content Writing is a unique and diverse field. Good and unique content is required universally, w hether you are writing for general reading or creating content for your website. In business, good content is required in the form of effective advertisements, press releases, mailers, fliers, banners, catalogues and brochures, search engine optimization, company profiles or preparing content for various presentations.

The Content Writing course is divided into two phases:

Fundamentals of Structured Presentation (Using indentation, bullets, lists etc.)

Study Material

All applicants will receive study material specially prepared for this program along with workbooks and assignments. As a part of the program delivery and study methodology, students will receive a complete study kit, incorporating material necessary to complete the program successfully.

Students are advised to send the applications before the last date in order to receive the study material before the course starts.

All study material is send through Registered Indian post on the address mentioned in the application form. The delivery time is normally 7-10 days anywhere in India.

Program Duration

The duration for completion of the program is six months. However the candidates may apply for an extention and complete the program in a maximum of nine months. The extension is inclusive of a grace period of three months against a re-registration fee of Rs. 1000/US$ 50.

Mode of Study

This program is offered through distance learning mode. The progress of participants is constantly monitored through telephone, e-mails and the NSTC website.

The program will require the participants to study the books and other material provided by NSTC and complete and duly submit the workbooks/worksheets within the specified time period by registered post to NSTC. We will not be responsible for any postal delays and non-delivery by the postal department.

Participants are encouraged to actively follow up queries or request assistance by calling or e-mailing the program co-coordinator.

Eligibility

Graduation in any discipline. Those who are pursuing a degree programs are also eligible.
Participants having done their Diploma after 10+2 are also eligible.

Participants with an aptitude for writing will naturally get the maximum benefits.

Applicants shall be awarded scholarships upto 50% on the basis of aggregate marks in diploma/ graduation/ post-graduation degree. For more information Click here

Dispatch of study material and the certificates

The above program fee is inclusive of the charges towards the dispatch of Kit (study material) and the Certificate. However, in case of return of these documents owing to incorrectness/ insufficiency in the address or change of postal address, provided by the participant, the second time dispatch of the aforesaid material is charged as per the norms.

Enrollment Procedure

Aspirants who wish to apply for the Certificate Program in Content Writing can download the application form from our

website: www.nstc.in/programs

Duly filled application form (enclosing a Bank Draft issued in favor of "Nano Science and Technology Consortium", payable at Delhi/ New Delhi), along with a copy of the certificate/ mark sheet of the highest Degree/ Diploma and a copy of passport size photograph must be sent.

Participants must provide and e-mail address for receiving communications.
One can apply any time of the year the registration will be provided for the ongoing batch.
Participants can register for more than one program at a time.

Evaluation and Certification

Evaluation for the course shall be on the basis of workbooks/worksheets provided along with the study material. The candidate will be required to complete the workbook from time to time and submit it by post. The dates for the submission of the workbooks will be provided online as well as in the dispatch letter provided with the course material. The time duration required to complete the program is six months. Students are instructed to complete and ensure submission of the workbooks to NSTC within a stipulated time period of 6 months. Failing to meet this time-line requires a re-registration in the same program, by remitting a re- registration fee of Rs. 1000=00/ US$50=00. This facilitates an extension of three months (maximum) period for the submission of the workbooks.

Every deserving candidate passing the course shall be provided a certificate by the Nano Science and Technology Consortium in hard copy by registered post.
