Abstract

The objective of this article is to present the synthesis and response of TiO2 nanoparticles against free radicals via evaluation of various in vitro antioxidant activity against, 1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazil (DPPH), hydrogen peroxide, superoxide anion radical, reducing power and hydroxyl radical (?HO) at different concentrations, (20, 30, 40,50, 60 µg/mL). The results conclude the scavenging behavior of titanium dioxide nanoparticles over 90% against free radicals this evident as they are direct antioxidants based on their in vitro radical scavenging studies
